Il talento reggae di Marumba raggiunge nuove vette con il lancio del suo ultimo album, "Time Has Come", distribuito sotto l'egida dell'etichetta Soulove Records di Dj Afghan. Un progetto ambizioso che sposa le radici del reggae con le sfumature del one drop e della steppa, impreziosite da avvincenti versioni dub strumentali.
L'album vanta una squadra di musicisti d'eccellenza riunita sotto il nome di Playmore Band, con collaborazioni di spicco tra cui spiccano Deadly Hunta, Mannaroman, Livio Roaring bass, Dub Harp e Adriano Taborro. Con Marumba alla guida, sia nella composizione che negli arrangiamenti, il disco promette un viaggio sonoro coinvolgente e ricco di significato.
Parlando delle tematiche trattate nel lavoro, Marumba ha offerto un'illuminante riflessione: "È giunto il momento di fare i conti con il nostro passato e presente, di affrontare la realtà della guerra con dignità. Dobbiamo imparare dai bambini, che non conoscono pregiudizi né arroganza e ci insegnano che la diversità è la linfa vitale della vita. Mentre il mondo sembra inchinarsi all'omologazione, è nostro dovere contrastare questo piano diabolico".
Le tracce dell'album sono il risultato di un meticoloso lavoro di mixaggio, curato da Petah Sunday presso l'I-tal Soup Studio di Londra, DJ Afghan alias Andrea Malservigi presso il Bunker Studio di Ferrara, e lo stesso Marumba presso il Playmore Studio di Ancona. Il tocco finale è stato affidato alle sapienti mani di Manuel Scaramuzzino di Master Your Track, a Londra, per un risultato sonoro impeccabile.

Marumba's reggae prowess reaches new heights with the release of his latest album, "Time Has Come," distributed under the auspices of Dj Afghan's Soulove Records label. Speaking about the themes addressed in the work, Marumba offered an illuminating reflection: "The time has come to come to terms with our past and present, to confront the reality of war with dignity. We must learn from children, who are free from prejudice and arrogance and teach us that diversity is the lifeblood of existence. As the world seems to lean towards homogenization, it is our duty to counter this diabolical plan."
The tracks on the album are the result of meticulous mixing, handled by Petah Sunday at the I-tal Soup Studio in London, DJ Afghan alias Andrea Malservigi at the Bunker Studio in Ferrara, and Marumba himself at the Playmore Studio in Ancona. The final touch was entrusted to the skilled hands of Manuel Scaramuzzino from Master Your Track in London, ensuring an impeccable sound result.
