"Home" is the new released album by Train to Roots.
Train to Roots are now presenting their fifth album "Home" (INRI, 2016) a metaphorical back to the roots for the sardinian band. This time the vibe is much more personal: roots rock reggae want to make the massive move, sometime mixed with beat and sounds of modern elctro, plus the great presence of backup vocals of the 70ies. For the first time the distribution will be set by VPAL (a branch of VP Records).
Many collaborations with great and talented artists but most important thing artists which are human being with a nice soul. Some of them as Clementino, Madh and Levante don't even belong to the reggae sphere but they still added some value to this work. Lion D, Aspencat and Auxili are some other artists included in the project. "Home aims a state of peace, as being home, the most important difference is that the bricks are persons. Home also is the expression of being ourself and live with our simple attitude, talking about our themes and problems. The lyrics is about real life, real experiences, giving some suggestions to have a better way to face everyday 's contradictions with more consciousness and serenity". The cover is by a sardinian artist as well, Giorgio Casu, The Kiss.
Internationally successful thanks to his exhibitions in many capitals around the world, he describes his painting as "a promise made with closed eyes, those in which the world disappears."
Home is available in digital format on all online stores in Europe starting from March 4 and in the rest of the world from April 1.

I Train To Roots presentano il loro quinto album Home (INRI, 2016), un metaforico ritorno a casa per il gruppo sardo, che torna ad auto-prodursi scegliendo di suonare reggae “a modo suo”: roots rock reggae che fa pensare e ballare allo stesso tempo e che sporadicamente viene contaminato da sonorità e beat dell'underground elettronico moderno il tutto arricchito da una massiccia presenza di cori in pieno stile 70 revival. Per la prima volta nella discografia della band, il disco verrà distribuito globalmente da VPAL, parte dell'etichetta reggae più importante del mondo, VP Records.
Tante collaborazioni per allargare questa Home musicale; tutte persone stimate dalla band per il loro talento artistico, ma anche e soprattutto per il loro lato umano. Tra queste spiccano quelle con gli italiani Clementino, Madh e Levante, tre artisti che pur non appartenendo al mondo reggae, hanno voluto far parte di questo lavoro. Lion D e gli spagnoli Aspencat e Auxili fanno invece oramai parte della vita musicale dei Train To Roots e per questo sono stati coinvolti in questa produzione.
“Home rappresenta lo stato di serenità e di sicurezza che ognuno di noi percepisce nella propria casa. Una casa fatta non di mattoni ma di persone, di comunità, di convivenza. Home anche perché siamo tornati a produrre la nostra musica, a prenderci noi in prima persona la responsabilità delle scelte stilistiche e delle tematiche affrontate. Ogni testo racconta situazioni di vita reale e vissuta in prima persona, dando degli spunti propositivi per affrontare le contraddizioni del sistema con maggiore consapevolezza e serenità”.
E dalla loro casa naturale, la Sardegna, arriva anche Giorgio Casu, autore dell'opera in copertina, The kiss. Artista oramai affermato a livello internazionale grazie alle sue esposizioni nelle capitali di tutto il mondo, descrive il suo quadro come “una promessa fatta a occhi chiusi, di quelle per cui il mondo scompare”.
Home è disponibile in formato digitale su tutte le piattaforme online in Europa dal 4 marzo e nel resto del mondo dal 1 aprile.
