OVERJAM INTERNATIONAL REGGAE FESTIVAL: FROM 16 TO 19 AUGUST

Overjam International Reggae Festival, will take place in Tolmin (Slovenia) from 16 to 19 August with a pre-party the15th and an after-party the 20th.

The extensive list of artists already announced for the main stage is getting bigger, new confirmations are coming from the beautiful female voice of Soom T, the original sound of Glasgow Mungoís Hi Fi, accompanied by British veteran Solo Banton, in addition to Virtus, the singer from Rome.

There will also be numerous international sound system that will take turns on the Green Stage and Red Stage, as well as stages dedicated respectively to dub and dancehall. On the Green Stage will arrive from Italy Moa Anbessa, Rockers Dub Master, Wicked & Bonny, who along with British King Earthquake and the sound of Love Kulture Project, Kings Hi-Fi & Leo the Reggae Roast Samson, Tiffany Juno and Culture B, will ensure an unforgettable setting.

Some of the firsts names confirmed for the Dancehall style are: the Jamaican Iniman from Caveman Sound, from Italy Bomchilom, Pakkia Crew and Gonzo Sound, the Belgian Rakka DJ, Austrians and Slovenians Sued Massive Freedom Fighters. From Slovenia comes also the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Dub Lab with Ohoroho, Dubzilla and Rollking. Those names are in addition to the already announced stars Tarrus Riley, Marcia Griffiths, Kabaka Pyramid, Cali P, Dean Fraser, Alaine, Stylo G, I-Shence, Fleck, Lion D, Madred, Asher Selector, Earth Beat Movement and Wicked Dub Division.

Overjam isn't just about music, but it is an event for families too, with many activities for children. This year it will be organized in four different languages, there will be a camping area for campers with electricity available and many other news which will be announced soon.

Waiting to know the artists who will complete this already rich and varied line-up and confirm the rest of the assets, the organization of the festival is moving to turn many events in Europe so people will have the possibility to taste what has to come in August in Tolmin, with some of the artists who will be performing at the festival. The next shows are in London (UK) with Mungoís Hifi, Monaco (Germany), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Belluno with Earth Beat Movement and Jamaram, Mantova, Pordenone, Udine with Wicked Dub Division and finally Klagenfurt (Austria) with sound Serious Thing.

Over the pre-party the Festival's tickets will be available, they are currently for sale at 79 euro on the official site overjamfestival.com/shop there is also the chance to win them through extractions.

Sempre dalla Slovenia arriva anche la celebrazione del decimo anniversario del Dub Lab con Ohoroho, Dubzilla e Rollking. L’Overjam però non è solo musica, ma è un evento adatto anche alle famiglie, con attività per bambini che da quest’anno verranno organizzate in quattro lingue, una zona del campeggio per i camper con corrente elettrica e molte altre novità che verranno presto annunciate. In attesa di conoscere gli artisti che completeranno questa già ricca e variata line up e di confermare il resto delle attività collaterali, l’organizzazione del Festival ha messo in marcia una lunga lista di eventi in molte località europee dove sarà possibile avere un piccolo assaggio di quel che accadrà ad agosto a Tolmin, con alcuni degli artisti che saranno presenti al festival.
