I gemelli giamaicani The Gideon e Selah provengono dalla comunità di Jah Ova Evil, segnata dalla scomparsa del loro fratello minore nel 2011. La loro carriera musicale inizia in tenera età con la band Jah Children e prosegue poi con vari progetti portati avanti nell'ambito della community, considerata una delle fautrici del movimento Reggae revival.
The Gideon e Selah saranno in tour in Europa tra novembre e dicembre. Due le tappe italiane: il 20 novembre all’Auditorium Flog di Firenze e la sera successiva a Venezia al Centro Sociale Rivolta. In entrambi i casi saranno ospiti dei concerti de La Tempesta Dub insieme alla coppia italiana di gemelli più conosciuta nel mondo del reggae, i Mellow Mood. Questo tour invernale li porterà anche a Praga, insieme alla band ceca United Flavour e a Bratislava, dove saranno nuovamente presenti i Mellow Mood.
Quest’ultimo evento è organizzato da Batelier Records, etichetta slovacca che ha prodotto “Jah Ova Evil: Forever Judah”, album dedicato a J.O.E. e che raccoglie 14 track di sette artisti diversi. Il primo brano è un inedito di J.O.E., mentre il resto del disco è completato dalle voci di The Gideon, Selah, Hempress Sativa, Nicole Miller, D'Excell e Jahwawah.

The Gideon and Selah are two jamaican twins grew up in the community called Jah Ova Evil, sadly marked by the death of their youngest brother in the 2011.
Their musical career started very early with the band Jah Children and went over with several projects inner the community.
Gideon and Selah will be on tour in Europe starting from November up to December.
Only two gigs are scheduled in Italy that is the 20th November @ Flog Auditorioum in Florence and the 21th @ Rivolta Squat in Venice.
In those venues they will be hosted by La Tempesta Dub and the Mellow Mood (our italian reggae twins). They will be performing also in Prague guested by Unite Flavour and in Bratislava with Mellow Mood.
The last concert is promoted by the Slovenian label, which is producing Jah Ova Evil: Forever Judah, that is the Batelier Records.
The album is in sweet memory of Joe, J.O.E collects 14 tracks with seven different artists contributions. The first track is unreleased and is singen by Joe himself, the album includes artists such as Hempress Sativa, Nicole Miller, D'Excell and Jahwahwah.
