The line up of this fifth Overjam Festival will be completed by The Congos and Assasin aka Agent Sasco.
Now, all the artists' name that will be performing at the festival are disclosed to the audience. More than an 100 artists coming from over 14 countries,will be protagonists of an intense and awaited event that will take place on 3 big stages from the 16th to the 19th of August in Tolmin-Slovenia.

After the concert you can dance until the dawn, beach stages with dij set by Jamie Rodigan (Sir David's son),the Japanese Yardbeat, Parly B, Asher, Bizzarri Sound, Iniman di Caveman Sound, Fleck, Moa Anbessa, Roots in Session, King Earthquake, Rakka and I-Shence.
Ita:La programmazione della quinta edizione dell’Overjam International Reggae Festival è ora completa con l’arrivo dalla Giamaica del roots degli storici The Congos e della dancehall di Assassin aka Agent Sasco. Con questi nomi, il festival annuncia la chiusura della line up con circa 100 artisti provenienti da 14 paesi diversi che si alterneranno su tre palchi dal 16 al 19 agosto (con un preparty il 15 e un afterparty il 20) a Tolmin (Slovenia).
The Congos è un gruppo vocale composto da ‘Ashanti’ Roy Johnson, Cedric Myton, Watty Burnett e Lindbergh Lewis, attivo da metà degli anni ‘70, diventato famoso grazie al disco Heart of the Congo, registrato con Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. Jeffrey Campbell, più conosciuto come Assassin aka Agent Sasco, è un singjay e artista dancehall che ha iniziato la sua carriera nel 1999, quando i suoi brani sono stati registrati da Spragga Benz come ‘Shotta’. Nel 2000 ha pubblicato il suo primo single solista, Wah Gwaan.
Saranno proprio loro, insieme a Stylo G, a chiudere gli show del palco principale l’ultima sera, il 19 agosto. Il 16 si esibiranno invece Marcia Griffiths, Mungo’s Hi FI con Solo Banton e Lion D; mentre il 17 toccherà a Tarrus Riley, Dean Fraser e Alaine; e il 18 Kabaka Pyramid, Cali P e Soom T. Dopo i concerti, si balla fino all'alba sui palchi della spiaggia con, tra i tanti: Jamie Rodigan (figlio di Sir David), i giapponesi Yardbeat, Parly B, Asher, Bizzarri Sound, Iniman di Caveman Sound, Fleck, Moa Anbessa, Roots in Session, King Earthquake, Rakka e I-Shence.
