ENG: The video of “Citizens" anticipate the Patois Brothers’ second album.After the success of the first album Mighty Ways, Patois Brothers' are now launching the new single Citizens, meant to be a very intense and significant song. Patois Brothers' aim is to make people evaluate the life and the, by now, lost values. Citizens is the second chapter of the paragraph started with Politician, their first single.
The band has explained: "With Politician the focus was on the managerial class of the economically advanced countries, with this second tune we extend the message to the whole country".
The song will be soon available on every online musical all kind of platform, it has been arranged by Patois Brothers', recorded live at the “33 Giri Studio in Fossò (VE). The mixing and the mastering have been executed at the “Rolling Lion Studio” in Uk.
The band said: “We went personally to Sudbury, a small village close to London, to see Daniel Boyle mixing skills, thanks to the effort of analogical devices date back in the 70ies , in order to give a sound typical of those years, a new roots."
The video has been directed by Luca Bragagnolo, already director for many other musical video.
ITA: Citizens' anticipa il secondo disco dei Patois BrothersLa giovane reggae band veneziana Patois Brothers presenta il suo nuovo videoclip, Citizens. Il brano arriva dopo il successo del primo disco, Mighty Ways, e anticipa quello che sarà il secondo album del gruppo, a cui stanno lavorando attualmente.
Citizens vuole essere un brano con un forte spessore culturale e un altro passo che i Patois Brothers vogliono fare per portare le persone a rivalutare la vita stessa, e rimettere in circolo i valori perduti. “Con Citizens abbiamo voluto scrivere il secondo paragrafo di Politician, il nostro primo singolo, con il quale avevamo già cominciato a parlare dei comportamenti della nostra società, tanto italiana quanto europea. Se con Politician l'attenzione era rivolta alla classe dirigente dei paesi economicamente avanzati, con questo singolo l'attenzione è rivolta verso il paese intero” ha detto la band.Il brano, che presto sarà disponibile su tutte le piattaforme online, è stato creato ed arrangiato interamente dai Patois Brothers, ed è stato registrato in presa diretta allo studio “33 Giri” di Fossò (VE). Il mixing e il mastering del pezzo sono stati invece realizzati al “Rolling Lion Studio” in UK: “Ci siamo recati personalmente a Sudbury, un piccolo paese fuori Londra, dove abbiamo assistito al lavoro di Daniel Boyle, il quale ha mixato la traccia con macchine analogiche, quasi tutte risalenti agli anni 70 per dare al brano un sound tipico di quegli anni, seppur lo stesso brano è composto in chiave new roots”.Il video è stato diretto da Luca Bragagnolo, regista del veneziano che ha già collaborato con noti gruppi musicali italiani, reggae e non.
